Todd Blount is the President of Blount Fine Foods. He has a degree in engineering management from the University of Vermont, and an MBA from Boston University. Todd took over the company in 2000, at age 32, from his father, Ted. Since that time, Todd has completely reinvented Blount Fine Foods. Blount Fine Foods has grown and transformed itself into a manufacturer and marketer of high quality, handmade gourmet soups and sides sold to consumers, restaurants and foodservice institutions under dozens of different brands. Blount has improved efficiency, diversified the product offering and expanded Blount’s sales footprint across the country. To accomplish this, Todd has rebuilt the business on a model of customer collaboration and innovation.
Samuel M. Lam is based in Singapore and is the President and Managing Partner of Linkage Asia. Linkage is a global leadership development firm, headquartered in Boston. Sam is one of the leading practitioners in the field of leadership development in Asia. He has created some of the most highly regarded leadership development programs for both Singapore and global clients. His special interest is in the area of top team effectiveness, executive derailment and rebound and executive energy. He co-authored Linkage Inc.’s Best Practices in Leadership Development Handbook (Second Edition) with Marshall Goldsmith and David Giber, published by John Wiley in 2009. graduated with a B.A. from the University of Southern California and has an M.A. from the National University of Singapore.
Lorenna Ellis (Brown '09, Commerce, Organization, & Entrepreneurship) will be the master of cermonies of this event. Formely a campus director serving Brown University and the New England area, she now works at the head quarters of Cru Global in their business and marketing department.
