(Last) Two Weeks Notice...

The end of the Spring semester is near! We've got all sorts of things going on to help you finish strong this semester--some of it edifying, some of it encouraging, and some of it just plain entertaining. Check out the details below, let us know if you have any questions (or perhaps some suggestions...?).

  • Sunday, April 21st:
    • Life Groups at 8pm (Men @ 315 Thayer St., Women at Judson House: 168 Lloyd Ave)
    • Imani Jubilee 6pm in Manning Chapel (Main Green): Divine Worship Experience and guest speaker Assoc. Professor Cory Walker
  • Wednesday, April 24th:
    • "Roots and Branches: An Evening of Learning About Church History" with Professor Lin Fisher
    • Dodgeball Tourney in Andrews Dining Hall from 4-6:30pm.
      • Get a team together of 5-7 people and get ready to move! Healthy snacks and drinks will be provided as well as health tips on diet and exercise! To REGISTER a team, e-mail Demitrius_Burnett@brown.edu. DON'T HAVE A TEAM??? Come out anyway and we will make one!
  • Thursday, April 25th: Last AIA Prime Time Thursday of the year!
    • Our very own Bree Shugarts (Brown '13, XC, Track) will be sharing with us.
  • Friday, April 26th: (Stomp the) Yard Show on Main Green 5:30pm
    • Brown's NPHC will be having it's first annual Yard Show! Each organization will be stepping, strolling, chanting, and all the things you love to see from Greek life as part of this free show. And our very own Demitrius Burnett will be stomping too!
  • Sunday, April 28th: Last official Life Groups of the year!
    • 8pm (Men @ 315 Thayer St., Women at Judson House: 168 Lloyd Ave)
  • Tuesday, April 30th: AIA Movie Night in Andrews Dining Hall starting at 7:30pm
  • Thursday, May 2nd: AIA's annual Senior Send-off Celebration at the Judson House (168 Lloyd Ave)
    • Dinner starts at 6:30pm, but please let us know if you can come early to help cook and setup.
    • Seniors, be looking for a special invitation so we know how much "special" food to make. The rest of ya will be getting fed too--it just won't be quite as good as the senior's selection. :)
  • Saturday, May 4th: Boston Paw Sox Faith and Family Day
    • The Paw Sox will be hosting the Durham Bulls on Saturday, May 4, at 1:00pm at McCoy Stadium (Pawtucket, RI). Right after the game there will be a live concert and some players will share their faith story. The whole event will take place right after the game is over and last about an hour. All are welcome!
    • If interested, please let us know asap because we'll need to secure tickets ($7/person).
  • May 9 or 12: AIA Cookout and Study Break and corn hole mini-tourney. More details soon...
